人类的2.5kbpodocin启动子(Nphs2)驱动表达人源的caspase 8融合有串联的FKBPv(phe36val突变FKBP)二聚体域。这个融合蛋白包含一个myristoylation位点，用于细胞膜附着。在Nphs2特异性的podocyte驱动下，融合蛋白的表达，加上诱导FKBP域二聚化，导致肾小球细胞的广泛凋亡。生成了四条转基因品系，其中一条显示出高表达，因此进行了更深入的研究。(来源：J:321645)
