这个转基因，来源于从A型胸腺细胞库克隆分离出的片段，包含一个9.6kb的鼠基因组DNA片段，它覆盖了编码TLAa-3抗原的H2-T18a等位基因。转基因产生的转录本和抗原在胸腺中的表达水平很高，在脾脏和淋巴结中的表达则较低，与那些内源性TL表达的鼠品系的胸腺特异性表达不同。在骨髓中未检测到表达。主要的2.4kb转录本在A型（H2-T18a）小鼠和H2-T18a等位基因纯合的C57BL/6小鼠的胸腺中作为次要的mRNA存在。（来源：J:118591）
