在第7个内含子中插入了LoxP位点，同时伴随一个由Rox位点标记的自剪切诺卡因 cassette，接着在第8个内含子中插入了另一个LoxP位点。诺卡因 cassette 自动剪切掉了。通过Cre介导的生殖细胞重组，第8个外显子被删除。逆转录-PCR确认了中心域（第8个外显子）的内切缺失。 Western blot 通过针对中间域的抗体检测确认了其不存在。（来源：J:328987）
