对于转基因插入部分，从CD-1品系中Gata3转录起始点大约-2052bp的基因组序列，至内含子2的5'端（包括上游调节序列、exon1b、内含子1b、exon2和内含子2的一部分），被插入了一个含有poly(A)信号序列的β-半乳糖苷酶报告基因座，替换了Gata3的ATG启动子。该报告基因在胚胎肢体芽、肋间肌和颅神经元中表达。（来源：J:332297）
