这个目标是通过KOMP项目39930中的PRPGS00072_A_A02载体，来自UC Davis KOMP-CSD，插入了FRT、splice接受器、IRES、lacZ序列（带有polyadenylation序列）、loxP以及由人类β-actin启动子驱动的neomycin抗性基因、SV40 polyA、第二个FRT和第二个loxP位点，所有这些都在基因的内2号 intron内。同时，第三个loxP位点被插入到了内3号intron。这样，关键exon就被loxP位点夹在中间。通过Flp介导的重组移除了lacZ和neomycin抗性基因，而cre介导的重组则在生殖细胞中删除了exon 3。(来源：J:324270)
