这个靶向载体包含一个由IRES-EGFP-cre-polyA插件引导的序列，后面跟着一个反向插入的FRT-介导的诺卡因抗性 cassette，插入在了3'非翻译区（在最后一个编码exon（exon10）的终止密码子下游）。通过Flp介导的重组，FRT-标记的诺卡因抗性 cassette被移除。EGFP在流式细胞术中无法检测到，也不被认为能通过直接荧光看到。在生殖细胞或早期胚胎中偶尔观察到低水平的cre表达。此外，纯合小鼠几乎不表达MGL2蛋白。（来源：J:321812）
