Gt(ROSA)26Sor^{tm1.1(Cas9)Gidg}

A BAC containing the Gt(ROSA)26Sor gene (BAC_ESr2-445b1_sfi_1) was modified by replacing part of intron 1 with a loxP site flanked neomycin resistance gene cassette, the Cas9 gene, sequence for P2A self-cleaving peptide sequence and the GFP reporter gene. The BAC replaced the endogenous locus through homologous recombination. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent cre-mediated recombination, leaving an allele expressing Cas9 and GFP driven by the Gt(ROSA)26Sor promoter. (J:317226)
