Pln^{tm2.1(PLN*)Fstil}

The targeting vector contains from 5' to 3'; a loxP site, an H2B-GFP sequence with 4x polyA sequence, an FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette, a second loxP site, and followed by a human PLN gene with an arginine 14 deletion inserted into the start codon of exon 2. The insertion results in a knock-out of the mouse Pln gene. Cre-mediated recombination removes the floxed GFP and neo cassette. (J:314571)
