来自IKMC项目79307的一种靶向载体被用来产生这个等位基因。L1L2_Bact_P元件包含FRT序列后面是lacZ序列和一个loxP位点，随后是人β-actin启动子驱动的诺卡因抗性基因，SV40polyA，第二个FRT位点以及第二个loxP位点。第三个loxP位点插入在目标的第11号外显子下游。因此，关键的第11号外显子被loxP位点所夹峙。（J:255302）
