这种突变是通过插入编码增强绿色荧光蛋白(EGFP)的序列，替换掉317号和18号外显子的部分片段，后面跟着人类生长激素的poly(A)序列和抗氨苄青霉素抗性基因。在4周大的纯合小鼠大脑中，通过RT-PCR和 Western blot 分析，没有检测到EGFP的表达。Plexin-B3的内源性mRNA和蛋白质表达也均无法检测到。(来源：J:307447)
