这个转基因是通过一个包含小鼠神经发生基因Neurog1（Neurog）1编码序列的基因组BAC克隆（RP24-347K19）构建的，它在exon1的位置替换掉了整个编码序列，并且载体的背景区分序列（loxP）被替换了zeocin抗性基因，从而从pTARBAC载体中删除了。随后，通过检测，我们筛选出了11个独立接受转基因整合的鼠品系，对Cre重组酶的活性进行了评估。在这个筛选过程中，G1C品系因其最高的重组率被选中。（来源：J:306016）
