Iap5-1^solo

This variant contains only the long terminal repeats (LTR) from the intracisternal A-particle retrovirus. Unlike the Iap5-1full variant, the solo variant lacks a KRAB zinc finger protein binding site and is no longer subject to DNA methylation and H3K9 trimethylation. (J:302835)
