A IRESvYFP reporter and a loxP flanked neomycin selection cassette was inserted into the 3-untranslated region of the endogenous gene. The neomycin selection cassette was removed via Cre-mediated recombination in the germline. Gata3 is expressed similarly to controls, and reporter expression mimics the endogenous expression of the gene. (J:288433)
