Using the knockout-first promoter driven conditional ready construct from the trans-NIH Knockout Mouse Project, this conditional-ready allele has an FRT site followed by lacZ sequence and a loxP site, followed by neomycin resistance gene under the control of the PGK promoter, SV40 polyA, a second FRT site and a second loxP site all upstream of exon 3 with a third loxP site is inserted downstream of exon 3.
