The CAG promoter drives expresison of a floxed GFP and STOP cassette, and the paired basic amino acid-cleaving enzyme (PACE) rat Prss2 gene with a 5' signal peptide, trypsinogen activation peptide, and hemagglutinin tag. The original enteropeptidase cleavage site (DDDDK) was replaced by a PACE cleavage site (RTKR). (J:194451)
