CRISPR/cas9 endonuclease-mediated genome editing was used to create two amino acid deletions at positions P317 and R318 in exon 3 of the gene. The deletions are located in the pleckstrin domain (PH) and are in proximity to two orthologous human mutations. The mutations minimally affect expression levels. (J:280476)
