CRISPR/Cas9 technology generated a 37 bp deletion (5'-CTCCAGGACTGCCCAGCTTCCTCTTTCTGCTGCTCTG-3') in the 13th exon, disrupting testicular Ace which only transcribes from the 13th exon. The sgRNA sequence used for transfection were: 5'-GGCCAAGGTTGGGCTACTCC-3' and 5'-TCTTTCTGCTGCTCTGCTGT-3'. (J:279308)
