Tg(Trpm8-HBEGF/EGFP)M8Dmck

A 130-200 kbp bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) RPC1-22 clone 553 H3 containing the entire ~80 kbp mouse Trpm8 gene was modified to insert a simian diphtheria toxin receptor / enhanced green fluorescent protein fusion gene sequence (DTR/EGFP) followed by an SV40 polyA sequence into exon 2 of Trpm8 locus on the BAC (disrupting the Trpm8 coding region). No other loci on the BAC were altered. The BAC may also include the Ugt1a2, Dnajb3, Ugt1a1, Mroh2a, Hjurp and Spp2 loci. (J:194264)
