L1L2_st1 cassette被插入到了染色体2的2号外显子上游位置，这个 cassette 包含了一个FRT标记的lacZ序列连接到新霉素序列，后面跟着一个loxP位点。在3号外显子下游，又插入了一个loxP位点。通过在携带这种基因座的老鼠中表达flp重组酶，产生了"条件准备好"（含flanked by loxP）的等位基因，这样就能去掉lacZ序列和neo选择性序列，只留下3号外显子周围的loxP位点。（来源：J:303166）
