Tg(Myh6*/tetO-Hspb8*K141N)#Atsa

The coding region of mouse heat shock protein 8 with the lysine to asparagine missense mutation at amino acid 141 (K141N) with an N-terminal HA tag was inserted into an MHCminTetO-promotor construct. The expression of the construct was driven by a mouse alpha-myosin heavy chain promoter with 3 altered GATA sites and 2 altered thyroid-like response elements for maintaining low levels of cardiac-specific expression, under the control of a tetracycline operator.
