This allele was generated through shotgun CRISPR/Cas9 editing using pooled sgRNAs that targeted each variable exon of the Pcdhg cluster and this allele was found to have a frameshift disrupting the variable exon A10, in-frame mutations in variable exons B5 and B6, and structural rearrangements impacting exons A1 through A5.
