This allele was generated through shotgun CRISPR/Cas9 editing using pooled sgRNAs that targeted each variable exon of the Pcdhg cluster and this allele was found to have a frameshift or other mutations disrupting the variable exon A7, an in-frame mutations in variable exon A3, and a structural rearrangement impacting exons B1 through A6.
