This allele was generated through shotgun CRISPR/Cas9 editing using pooled sgRNAs that targeted each variable exon of the Pcdhg cluster and this allele was found to have disrupting frameshift indel of variable exon A12 and a structural rearrangement that encompasses variable exons B1through B8, leaving only 6 variable exons intact.
