A loxP site flanked inverted neomycin resistance gene cassette replaced 36 bps, from -1 bp through +35 bp relative to the coding sequence, including the start codon. Western blot analysis with an anti-Gimap5 antibody that binds to a truncated protein lacking N-terminal 10 or 26 amino acids indicates that truncated protein is not produced. (J:209926)
