Tg(Hpgds-tdTomato,-DTA)1Jay

A loxP-tdTomato-Stop-polyA-loxP-diptheria toxin A (DTA) cassette was introduced to mouse BAC (MSMg01-143H02) containing the Hpgds gene exon2 downsterem and in frame with the start codon. In presence of cre recombinase, the tdTomato reporter cassette is excised, allowing expression of DTA and ablation of the expressing cells. Thtee founders animals were initialy created, but only one line was maintained. Only one line of this strain (line 1) is available. (J:265285)
