Mnx1(-homeobox HB9)启动子驱动表达的是带有T105M突变的C末端Myc标签的鼠肌萎缩性侧索硬化症2A型家系中发现的mitofusin 2，后面跟着一个插入了内切互补序列(IRE)和EGFP的神经元特异性表达元件。通过Western blot检测，使用抗Myc抗体确认了转基因蛋白的表达。插入位点的序列分析显示，这个转基因插入了11号染色体上Rad51c和Ppm1e基因之间的一个非编码区域。(来源：J:132035)
