A threonine to alanine change at position 163 (T163A) was introduced resulting in a kinase dead knock-in mutation. LoxP sites were introduced 3' and 5' to the targeted exons. A FRT-flanked puromycin selection cassette was removed via Flp-mediated recombination. (J:246310)
