人类细菌人工染色体(BAC)RP11-237K15，包含了TREM2基因及其周边50kb的5'侧翼区域，还包括TREML1、TREML2和TREML4基因，经过修改，去除了TREML1、TREML2和TREML4基因。具体改动如下：TREML4基因删除了编码序列的exons 1至3及大部分蛋白质编码区域的启动子区域；TREML1基因删除了启动子区域和exons 1、2、5和6（占80%的编码序列）；TREML2基因去除了exons 2和3，导致了帧移并产生一个早期终止密码子在exon 4。随后建立了携带1个或2个拷贝转基因的创始人系(A)，转基因拷贝数通过基因组定量PCR进行估算。(来源：J:262250)
