Exon 7, containing the CP cleavage site, was flanked by loxP sites. An IRES-YFP was inserted between the Lag3 stop codon and the pA. A FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette was inserted just past the pA. Upon cre-mediated removal of exon 7, these mice are expected to lack cell surface expression of LAG3 and thus cannot mediate signaling but continue to release soluble protein. (J:260063)
