Tg(H2-D^d)28Bee

An H2-D gene was flanked by loxP sites at the promoter region and the exons that encode the alpha1 and alpha2 domains. This line expressed H-2D at levels similar (80%) to B10.D2 (H-2) mice. Upon cre-mediated recombination, expression of H2-D is abolished. (J:72831)
