A loxP site was inserted upstream of exon 4 and a second loxP site and FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette were inserted downstream of exon 4 via homologous recombination. Exon 4 remained flanked by loxP sites following excision of the FRT-flanked neomycin cassette. (J:265318)
