在第47外显子中插入了一个剪接接受体位点突变，以阻止MPI和MPII的产生。同时，47外显子的一部分被替换为人源同源基因的等量片段，用于基因分型。在第45内含子中插入了loxP序列标记的抗氨苄青霉素抗性基因元件，然后通过Cre介导的重组移除。逆转录PCR实验证实，MPI和MPII的同源物不存在，仅表达MPc亚型。免疫印迹实验也未能检测到MPI亚型，而MPc亚型则过量表达。(来源：J:243499)
