在exon 2上游插入了loxP位点。下游的exon 7之后插入了一个带有3' loxP的FRT引导的诺卡因抗性元件，还有一个选择性元件。通过Cre介导的重组，这些序列和2到7号外显子都被去除了。 Western blot结果显示心肌中没有蛋白表达(来源：J:238260)
