Tg(Fos/lacZ)#Jim

This transgene consists of a fos-lacZ fusion protein containing 315 N-terminal amino acids from the mouse c-fos and 1015 C-terminal amino acids from beta-galactosidase. The construct lacks the C-terminal amino acid sequences that function as a negative regulator of c-fos expression. Three lines were established, however the pound symbol (#) is used because lines are not specified. (J:237479)
