The 695 amino acid isoform of human amyloid precursor protein with the Swedish (K670N and M671L) and London (V717I) mutations is under the control of the tetracycline-response element and the Prnp promoter. Western blot analysis indicate transgene expression at a level four times that of the endogenous mouse protein in the membrane-enriched fraction of the brain. (J:235351)
