在第22外显子下游，一个loxP位点被插入，紧接在终止密码子之后。接着，一个3'有loxP位点的FRT引导的诺卡因抗性基因座被插入到3'UTR需要删除的1.1kb序列的下游，后面跟着三个SV40的polyA信号。通过Flp介导的重组去除了选择性基因座，而Cre介导的重组则删除了3'UTR中的1.1kb序列。逆转录PCR证实了没有完整3'UTR的转录本存在。(来源：J:222342)
