在TP1启动子的调控下，放置了一个带有核定位信号（nls-lacZ）的lacZ基因。TP1启动子包含12个多聚RBP-Jκ结合位点，位于一个简化的β-珠蛋白启动子上游。TP1启动子在激活形式的四种哺乳动物Notch受体作用下，依赖性地被转录激活，可用于检测Notch通路的活性。只有一条转基因品系成功表达了lacZ，且进行了扩大和进一步研究。（来源：J:110140）
