Tg(KRT14-HPV8)85Vuc

This transgene consists of the human keratin 14 promoter, intron 2 of the rabbit beta-globin gene, the complete early region and parts of the noncoding region and the L2-open reading frame of human papillomavirus type 8 (HPV8), and keratin 14 polyadenylation sequence. The keratin 14 promoter drives expression of the transgene in basal cells of the squamous epithelium. Three lines were generated: 9, 61, 85. Line 85 has 70 copies of the transgene. (J:96784)
