欧洲敲除合作组织（EUCOMM）提供了一个靶向载体。这个载体包含一个splice接受器、由两个Flp酶切位点前后围绕的β-geo cassette，以及在第三外显子之前的两个loxP位点。这样，通过添加Cre重组酶，可以实现对第三外显子的条件性失活。Flp酶切位点伴随的β-geo cassette在添加flipase酶后能被去除，生成一个条件性等位基因。(来源：J:188485)
