Tg(H2-Ab1-HLA-DPB1)1Lone

This transgene contains a full length cDNA encoding the 04:01 variant of the beta chain of the human major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class II DP receptor (HLA-DPB1*4:01) downstream of the promoter of the mouse histocompatibility 2, class II antigen A, beta 1 (H2-Ab1) locus. The human cDNA is followed by the mouse H2-Ab1 3' noncoding sequence. Mice bearing this transgene in combination with Tg(H2-Aa-HLA-DPA1)1Lone express a human HLA-DPalpha103/DPbeta401 complex that is specifically recognized by the anti-HLA-DP monoclonal antibody B72.
