This allele encodes a modified protein truncated at amino acid 1180. This allele preserves binding to AP-2 and ERM proteins but not binding to Ank2 or RanBPM. Cre-mediated recombination removed the floxed neo cassette inserted into intron 26. Western blot analysis confirmed expression of the truncated protein in the brain. (J:197240)
