在第3内含子中插入了带有FRT切割位点的诺姆西林筛选载体，同时5'有loxP位点。此外，第4外显子的662位点插入了突变，导致一个终止密码子替换为编码甘氨酸的Q662X。通过与flp敲除小鼠杂交，目标载体被剔除。结果产生了74 kD的蛋白质，而非野生型的240 kD蛋白。（来源：J:191685）
