通过同源重组，将一个带有PGk/Tn4 neo cassette的floxed基因元件和Akv1-99小鼠白血病病毒的长末端重复序列插入了第1号内皮。病毒的长末端重复序列被插入在GenBank序列L19607中 nucleotide 1062 之前的proviral整合位点。随后，Cre介导的重组去除了neo cassette。Q-RT-PCR结果显示，杂合子和纯合子小鼠的大多数组织中，mRNA表达都有所增加。 Western blot分析进一步证实了蛋白表达的增多。（来源：J:189834）
