An FRT flanked neo cassette and loxP site were inserted upstream of exon 3 and a loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 4. Flp and cre mediated recombination removed the neo cassette and exons 3 and 4. Immunostaining analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression on homozygous blastocysts at E3.5. (J:189008)
