在Tac2基因的第一个ATG位置通过同源重组插入了带有poly(A)信号的cre编码序列。初始的靶向载体包含Frt内含子介导的诺卡因 cassette。通过与Flp敲除型小鼠杂交，这些携带neo cassette的生殖细胞会被剔除。cre cassette的插入产生了Tac2基因的无义突变，表现为背根神经节区域的Tac2表达缺失，通过原位杂交检测到。(来源：J:180805)
