Tg(Alb-FKBP12/CASP8)#Lsu

This transgene is comprised of the murine albumin reporter driving expression of a fusion protein of the human FK506 binding protein 1A and human caspase 8 from Ser217-Asp479. Ligand induced dimerization results in activation of caspase 8 and ablation of hepatocytes expressing this transgene. (J:180276)
