Tg(Col1a1-Hsd11b2)Bek

The transgenic construct contains rat 11beta-HSD2 cDNA (Hsd11b2) gene, and was cloned downstream of a 2.3-kb fragment of the rat Col1a1 promoter and upstream of the bovine GH polyadenylation sequence. Three independent lines were established, 515, 516 and 529. The transgene was expressed in calvariae, long bone, vertebrae, and tail of transgenic mice. (J:96387)
