Tg(Gata1*V205G)1Mym

This transgene consists of the murine Gata1 cDNA with a V205G (GTG to GGG) mutation under the control of the Gata1 genomic locus spanning 3.9 kb 5' of the hematopoietic IE exon to the second exon (GATA-1 HRD) which recapitulates endogenous Gata1 gene expression. The valine 205 to glycine substitution has been shown to reduce Zfpm1 (Fog-1) association. Five lines were made. This line is a high-expressing line. (J:89054)
