Tg(CAG-mRFP1,-SOX9,-EGFP)1Haak

The transgene consists of the CAG promoter, a cassette containing a loxP-flanked mRFP1 gene and 4 tandem polyadneylation sites, the human SOX9 cDNA with a 3x hemagglutinin epitope tag, and an IRES-EGFP-polyA sequence. The vector was injected into C57BL/6 oocytes to generated mice. 8 founders were obtained and one line that showed significant levels of (ubiquitous) mRFP1 expression was chosen for further study.
