在内含子2中的一个loxP位点，以及由Frt sites介导的neomycin cassette周围，再插入一个loxP位点在内含子3中，通过同源重组实现。通过与germline Flp缺失突变体Gt(ROSA)26Sor杂交，产生了条件性等位基因，该突变体能删除Neo cassette，留下内含子3中的一个loxP和Frt位点。尽管预测这种由Cre介导的删除会生成一个框内转录本，但这个等位基因产物预计是功能缺失的。(来源：J:168155)
